Sylvie Signs’ world famous (ahem…) house numbers are back!
In a world of oh-so-tasteful but ever-so-slightly boring white on slate house numbers, or tarnished brass numbers screwed wonkily to front doors, wouldn’t you like to stand out with a hand painted house number? Choose your colour, choose your style, you could even opt for gold leaf… ooooh so fancy!
House numbers are painted using signwriters enamel and surface gilded with 23 carat gold leaf on powder coated steel. They are suitable for outdoor use and are available in A4 (210x297mm) or A5 (148x210mm) size. Numbers are painted to order, with a lead time of approx 3-4 weeks.

Hand painted transom numbers
Are you the lucky owner of a house with a transom window? Do you covet a luxe reverse glass painted and gilded number? I can help!
Using traditional signwriting techniques, I paint the number on the inside of the glass, to give a glossy flawless effect. If you’re a fan of gold, numbers can be water gilded to give a mirror effect or oil gilded for a matt effect.
